Our Roots . . .
We are a small, family-owned and operated greenhouse in Orchard Park, NY, established in 1977 by Robert (Bob) and Louise Boldt. Bob started off renting a greenhouse in West Seneca, growing and selling various foliage, vegetable, and seasonal plants. One day, a young woman named Louise approached asking if he needed any help. He never said no, and she kept coming back. After a short time at the rented greenhouse, they purchased our current location, and Angle Acres was born!
We pride ourselves in offering the highest quality plants at the most reasonable prices. The greenhouses are full of lush foliage plants, eye-catching flowers, and more succulents and cacti than imaginable - the product of over 40 years of collecting! We are open year-round and always have full stock of houseplants, tropicals, cacti, succulents, and pottery (transplanting is free with the purchase of a plant and pot). We also carry a wide range of seasonal items, such as spring bulbs and Easter plants, bedding and vegetable plants, herbs and edibles, hardy mums, amaryllis, perennials, and hand-made wreaths. We have a little bit of everything!
Our set-up is anything but traditional; it’s more of a botanical garden with animals! It gets muddy, and there are a bunch of cats, a few dogs, and whole lot of plants. Since we are also plant lovers and collectors, we do have some plants that aren’t for sale. Many are grown for propagation, but some will be passed down as family heirlooms!
We’re always growing something new and interesting, and we regularly source plants from around the country. There’s always something to see! We are so excited to share our love of plants with you and look forward to seeing you at the greenhouse!
